How does your media product represent a particular social group?

My magazine represents the young urban social group as this is the general
audience that listens to the RnB genre. My models are of a similar age to
my target audience. My models are also wearing costume that represents
the social group I am targeting.
Their are some clothes that are used in images that are typical of young people:
-Era caps
-Hoodies
-Baggy Jeans
-Trainers


I have used various different methods to ensure that my magazine
represents this particular social group. My main images are of teenagers
with a slight attitude that goes in hand with the RnB conventions.
In my main image costume is incorporated to represent the young urban
social group.
My main article uses formal language for the questions. However in my
article I have used less formal language for the answers as they are being
written from the young urban perspective. By using informal language my
audience may find that they can relate better to the artists and they the
artists are just ordinary people.
Also my main article expresses the fact that my artists are just normal people who used to live on an east London estate, and although they are famous now, they're just like the rest of us.


In one image of my artists their costume is more formal and in another image their dressed more casually. This represents the particular social group of young urban culture in two different ways. One image could represent a higher class that listen to the RnB genre and one image could represent a slightly lower class.
